Join our team at The Royal, a family-owned restaurant in one of New Orleans’ most iconic courtyards. We are building a team of dedicated hospitality professionals who care about our guests and one another.
We are looking for a detail-oriented prep cook to help bring Chef Jerry’s thoughtful Louisiana cooking to life.
What you will do
- Prepare ingredients and recipes accurately using kitchen prep lists.
- Label, date, store, and rotate food properly.
- Keep prep areas clean and organized and communicate prep needs to the kitchen team.
What we are looking for
One year of prep cook experience preferred. Good knife skills, organization, and a commitment to consistency and cleanliness.
